The Richmond County Health Department will be offering flu & pneumonia vaccines during the following times: Monday thru Thursday from 8AM until 5PM and on Fridays from 8AM until 11 AM while supplies last. The vaccines are free to patients with Medicare Part B, North Carolina Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shiel of NC, Railroad Medicare, NC Health Choice, CIGNA and MedCost insurance plans. In order to receive the vaccines free of charge, you MUST bring your insurance cards as well as your Social Security Cards. The cost of the vaccines for all other individuals will be $45.00 for the flu vaccine and $58 for the pneumonia vaccine. It is recommended that anyone older than 6 months old receive the flu vaccine annually. |
